It was by fate that Mark was our celebrant.. he truly was amazing from start to finish. We live abroad and were getting married back in the UK but this really wasn't an issue as Marks communication was so fantastic while also remaining relaxed. He was very flexible with his time and able to Skype and email when it suited us despite the time difference.
Mark was very upfront and worked extremely hard to find out as much about us as possible. Like most people, we were so busy planning our wedding that it can be difficult to prioritise things. He insured, that the preparation for our ceremony was not neglected. The questionnaires he provided us with made for a beautifully personal ceremony script. He truly is a talented and creative writer and speaker.
Both Rob and I wanted a relaxed yet also authentic wedding ceremony. Mark made us both feel like we were stood next to somebody who was our friend and truly was there to support us. Mark spoke beautifully and conducted the ceremony seamlessly.
I could not have ever anticipated how many compliments we had from our guest on how our ceremony was the most lovely they had ever seen. It was filled with tears and laughter and everything we had hoped for. It was such a huge, significant part of the day for us, rather than just a formality. We have the most incredible memories that truly will last forever. Mark we cannot sing your praises or thank you enough for everything!

Baby Naming
As soon as we found out we were having a little girl I started planning her naming ceremony. As a mother you have a perfect image in your head and you pray that you will be able to make that dream come true. When we started organising the event we decided that we wanted a non-religious ceremony but one that included all of our friends and family and incorporated all of the special things about our little girl. From the moment we held our first conversation with Mark we just knew that he would be able to bring our dream to life! Through numerous phone calls, email conversations and a face to face meeting Mark wrote a ceremony script that was just amazing and on the day delivered it with perfection. We will always remember our daughters 1st birthday and naming day celebrations as Mark helped to make the celebrations just perfect. Mark is an amazing celebrant and I can not recommend him enough, in fact we are planning to ask Mark to marry us in the future...if that's not a perfect recommendation I don't know what is!
Mark is an excellent Wedding Celebrant, he was great to work with, calm and professional and genuinely a nice person. We had left everything thing until the last minute and were a bit worried about our ceremony but as soon as we met with Mark, we felt we could relax and concentrate on the rest of the wedding.
He put a lot of work into writing and researching our particular ceremony as we were having a Chinese/English wedding and wanted to incorporate elements of both traditions.
We would thoroughly recommend him, our ceremony turned out better than we had hoped and was quite unique. He guided us through it in a relaxed, yet professional manner, willing to go with it where needed and guide us back to the script where necessary.

Mark celebrated our midsummer's wedding outdoors in a Cornish woodland. He was super professional, helpful, responsive and adaptable throughout the process. He was also very flexible in finding time to meet us in person to get to know us - and us him - which felt important.
Over two months, we co-created a bespoke ceremony which captured perfectly our personalities, humour and story as a couple.
It was lovely to have Mark's gentle, calm nature at the rehearsal the day before and we appreciated his suggestions for the choreography, placement of readers etc as well as his excellent, clear delivery of the script - unperturbed by the drizzly "Cornish sunshine" - throughout the ceremony!
Above all, Mark is a really nice guy with a tremendous generosity of spirit and we would definitely recommend him as a celebrant.

Mark was a genuine pleasure to work with all the way through the design of our ceremony. He got the measure of us as individuals and a couple quickly and instinctively, and carefully listened to what we wanted and made sure we got it.
His support and reassurance gave us the confidence to be as quirky or as sentimental as we wanted, and the calm and relaxed atmosphere he helped to create set the tone for a great day. The guests loved the ceremony, and a couple of our friends now want to book him for a vows renewal!

We interviewed Mark and another celebrant months before our big day, and got an instantly warm feeling about him. We relaxed with a coffee in our lounge and it was fun telling him all about us and our plans for the wedding.
He totally understood our style, and he supported us from then on to ensure the ceremony was right. He kept us engaged with gentle reminders until we'd completed it (!) then came to have a look at the venue and a final run through nearer the day.
We loved Mark's gentle, calm, excited presence, his genuine warmth towards our family and his desire to help us have the day we'd hoped for!
He hung out with us afterwards before slipping off - we would've kept him for the whole day if we could! With Marks help we created the ceremony we wanted, personal, fun and relaxed while sharing with everyone present the important things we feel about each other and why we wanted to get married. We are VERY happy we did it with Mark.

Mark was perfect. He had exactly the right balance between the solemnity required for a lifelong commitment and us wanting to have fun too. He has a lovely voice and a massively reassuring smile: we were a bit overwhelmed with wedding planning, but felt relieved and cheerful as soon as we met him to talk about the ceremony. Lots of our guests commented afterwards on how lovely he was, and asked for his details!
